The "Horiz" is for the person who wants zero bulk. It has quickly become a favorite. It has four inner card slots, and nothing else, making it a super slim everyday carry. Card slots are horizontally-oriented.
Each wallet is constructed from full grain camel leather, which has 3 times the shear strength of cowhide. Having 10 times the collagen fiber density of cow leather, it has  a truly unique texture and grain.
Every wallet is cut and stitched by hand. I use a luxury French Fil Au Chinois "lin câblé" thread that I coat with beeswax. This the same thread used exclusively by craftsmen for Hermes, Louis Vuitton, and others. Every stitch is made by hand using the long-lasting saddle stitch. Even if a stitch is cut, it will not pull out like a stitch made by a sewing machine.

Why camel leather?

My choice to use camel leather is intentional. The camel leather we use is ethically-sourced, which means camels are not raised for leather.

Also, it is tanned using a chrome-free process. Avoiding the use of toxic chemicals to make this leather allows the tannery to recycle 80% of the water and to compost the waste. From an environmental standpoint, this is very important. On the sustainability side, it is also important to note that camels require up to 40X less water than cows, which significantly reduces their impact on the environment.

Cool fact: Camel leather is up to 3X stronger than cow leather, and softer.

Every item is completely designed and made by hand without machines in my Washington DC studio.
